Agreed. RoyalCruz did not comment on this, but I feel that I must say: While 1 1/2 miles is not a long walk, I would not want to walk along the short portion of State Road 84 that is comprised of the I-95 overpass (considering the 50 mph traffic). Even though there is a sidewalk (which may or may not have a guard rail), I would not feel comfortable walking the part of the route that includes the overpass. The rest of the route, however, would be fine for me. My recommendation to the OP would be to take a taxi to Big Daddy's Liquor Store. But, I have seen people, who were undoubtedly cruisers, walking over that overpass most likely on their way to Winn-Dixie supermarket or to Big Daddy's Liquors.

We stayed there once and never again. I wouldn't walk anywhere there.

By the time you take a taxi to save money on liquer you might as well

spend it on the ship.
