Droop Posted January 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2013 I was wondering if anyone has had cabin 8062 or 8562? How is the curve on the balcony, and does it have an affect of the cabin? I was wondering if anyone had any opinions or recommendations? Thanks!

Thanks - Maddle was not in one of these two, but was in one with a curved balcony. Not sure if this was what you were talking about, then there were more rooms in the middle of the ship. Only one end of the balcony was blocked from other rooms. It was good, because you had more of a view, but was bad, because you had less privacy. The rooms in the middle of the ship could see your balcony. It was still a great trip!!

Maddle Posted June 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2015 What I would really like to know is if there is a significant decrease in the size of the balcony due to the cut-in? Thanks- Maddle

TheCruiseVirgin Posted June 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 27, 2015 You'll find that all room will be a bit smaller on this ship, but you have to remember she was built as an "Island Hopper". I think you'll find that because you're in port every day, you may not spend as much time in your cabin as you initially expected... Have fun!! Maddle Posted July 2, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Not too concerned about the size of the room, but the balcony itself, since it is cut away (not a true rectangle.) Another room like this would be 9060.
