First Celebrity Cruise!

Hello all you experienced Celebrity cruisers!

 

I am excited to say I have booked our first Celebrity Cruise - the Silhouette on March 31 of this year. We got a complimentary Classic Beverage package and prepaid gratuities which spurred the purchase. We have an aft cabin - 8348 - we have enjoyed aft balconies on other ships. We have previously sailed on RCCL, NCL, Princess, Carnival, several now-defunct lines (i don't think we had anything to do with them being defunct) and most recently a transatlantic repositioning cruise on the HA Noordam.

 

This serves as a warning that I will undoubtedly be bombarding you with questions as we get closer to our sail date.

We always come back to Celebrity and would call it our favourite line so hope you enjoy.

We still try others but always return having not found an equal on food or service.

Communication, transfers for UK clients and web site are not their forte however which we overlook as the overall experience wins the day.

Hi Alexspepa!! hope you are enjoying your cruise!! Just booked 8348 on Silhouette for a summer 2014 cruise. Am curious to know your thoughts on the room and balcony? I had read somewhere that this is one of a few aft rooms that have a slightly wider balcony than others. Is this true? Any experience with soot or anything like that? Would you recommend this room? Would love to hear your feedback. Hopefully you are having a fabulous time!!
