spotter27 Posted January 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Can u order beer through bon voyage and not the coupons, or can I buy beer through the liquor dept. If so how?
cccer Posted January 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2013 I have never done it, but you can buy beer through Bon Voyage, but there is no discount. Plus it would be a challenge to keep it cold since the fridges don't do much and you can only fit so many in a bucket of ice.
ready2cruzagain Posted January 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Yes you can but there is no advantage to it. It will be the same price as if you purchased it on the ship at a bar and it would be hot.
Daddyfto Posted January 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Yes ...I just did ..the advantage is you save the 15% gratuity. Also say you want it delivered after you leave port to avoid state tax. Still not cheap but I like a couple of cool ones sitting on ice when getting ready for dinner or sitting on my balcony or in the case of an emergency a breakfast beer LOL. Also I think I read you have to order 7 days in advance...cheers
waitn2cruz Posted January 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Just go to the pool bar and buy a bucket and take it back to your room.
LadyinRedkp Posted January 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2013 If you buy through Bon Voyage you can always take the bottle of beer to one of the bars and they will exchange it for a cold one. I have never done that, but I read that here last time we cruised. Also, sometimes it is fun to buy a few of the coupons from the Bon Voyage. If you're just wanting one beer for the time being, you can take your coupon to a bar and get your drink. It would already be paid for. Buckets of beer are the best. etwright Posted January 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Just go to the pool bar and buy a bucket and take it back to your room. Sounds reasonable to me. :D:rolleyes::D
