Price Reduction equals On Board Credit?

Hi All - We are new to sailing and would be first time bookers with Celebrity. Wondering about on board credit when the price drops? Does Celebrity have this type of OBC the way Carnival does? If anybody knows can you please reply? I am extremely interested in trying Celebrity out of Ft Lauderdale for the Bahamas trip and see that it does seem to drop to under $300 when it gets near the date of sailing. Thanks to all in advance for responding.

With Celebrity, the policy is that up until final payment date, you can get your fare reduced if there is a price drop.

After final payment, no further drops (or OBC equivalent) are possible. You can, however, move to a higher category cabin if one is available at the price you've already paid.

Unfortunately, Celebrity doesn't have an "early saver" type of fare like Carnival that offers price protection up to just before sailing.
