theotherchad Posted January 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Do they dock near downtown or over near the pier where Royal Caribbean ships dock? Also, is there a bar at the port facility so that you can get one last beer onshore before reboarding? On RCCL, we have always really enjoyed the 1/2 Senor Frog's on the dock. We know the staff and they always remember us. Hoping for something similar on our very first Disney cruise. Thanks to anyone with some info! :)

Thanks to anyone with some info! :) I was on the January 4 sailing and we docked at Punta Langosta, the one near downtown. Definitely saw some bars near the port, one very near or in the shopping mall connected to it, just can't remember the name.
theotherchad Posted January 28, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Thanks much! This works out well, as we've never docked downtown before, but we know that there are lots of places to grab a last beer before reboarding! I knew I could trust a fellow Texan to know where the bars are! :D
QueenofEverything Posted January 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Another fellow Texan can tell you what bar it is!!! It is Sr. Frog's and Carlos n Charlies. There is a walkway over the main street at the end of the pier, you just go up the escalator and across and you are in a very nice shopping center with a Cinco Soles and Sr. Frogs/Carlos n Charlies. FYI - there is also a liquor store right at the end of the pier with very good prices. It is very convenient, you can pick it up as you head back to the ship and Disney does not require you to check it in, you can take it right to your cabin. theotherchad Posted January 30, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Bonus! We've been to that Senor Frogs before, so I know right where it is! What's important to us is to be someplace where we're kind of within sight of the ship as we have our last beers. Thanks for the answers!
