The MS Volendam in the South Pacific visiting Noumea New Caledonia, Lifou & Isle Of Pines in the Loyalty Islands, Vila & Luganville in Vanuatu & Lautoka, Levuka & Suva Fiji Islands.

We were on the November Solar Eclipse Cruise. I took my iPad and connection using it was erratic in accordance with the warning in the leaflet for Explorations noting that there were issues with (Apple) i devices for technical reasons. Lots of people were using laptops and other tablet style devices and I found the e books excellent for lounging on the balcony and on the aft deck.. Whether you will be able to use your device in your cabin for internet access will depend on where you are in relation to one of the wireless connections. You can look this up on IRL Joanies very useful site.

Have also booked this cruise and looking forward to a relaxing sail. Have been on HAL before and loved it. Have been studying shore excursions and our info is that you can manage all by your self. Any advice out there?
