arom729 Posted January 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I've read that there aren't diaper changing stations in the public restrooms. And I also (dumb) read a norovirus thread and have decided to avoid public restrooms as much as possible, anyway! So, do you go back to your cabin any time you may need to change a diaper? Or, if we are somehow nearby the kids area, do they have changing stations? TIA!
sparky-elpaso Posted January 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I can't answer your question about changing tables but as a mom who's sons are 38 and almost 40  this is what I did. Since changing tables in restrooms didn't exist: 1. Put folded blanket on floor in an out of the way spot. 2. Get down on knees by blanket. 3. Change the diaper. Every time I see the table in a restroom I think what a great idea - and why didn't I think of it and make a lot of money inventing one.
adidas66502 Posted February 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2013 We sailed Oasis with our 11 month old in Oct of 2011. There were diaper changing stations in most bathrooms. In the bathrooms closest to the pools, they were out in the open, just as you walked in. In the other bathrooms we found them in the handicap stalls. I hope this helps and you have a great time! It was a perfect vacation for us!
