Molega Tours?

Has anyone used Molega Tours? They operate in Halifax.

Not sure when you are visiting but this may hamper some tours

That's terrible about the fire. I had not heard about that.

 

There are other tour companies and many, many previous posts. Go back to the Ports of Call page for Canada, look to the right of the blue bar near the top of the page and do a search using terms such as Halifax and places you want to go.

I am not sure what we want to do. Probably see things away from walking distance or so from cruise terminal in Halifax. Peggys Island?

 

They said that their tours are running in Halifax but not the other location.

If you have already been to Halifax and/or do not want to see what is there, then renting a car and driving to Peggy's Cove and possibly on to Lunenburg is a great option.

There are many previous posts about renting cars. Some companies are in the Via Rail Station/Westin Hotel a couple minutes from the dock. Enterprise will pick you up at the pier.

 

You should get to Peggy's Cove as soon as possible to get ahead of the tour busses. Then you can go on to Lunenburg or go back to Halifax to spend some time there. If you want great lobster then go to Ryan's which is on the road to or from Peggy's.

Thanks but I know my husband does not want to drive himself in a strange area. So what do people really do in Peggy's Cove that is so popular?

Most of the above posts are for taxis or tour operators.

 

Peggy's Cove is a very scenic place. It is a tiny fishing cove with huge rocks, sometimes lots of crashing waves, and little shops.

If you are not interested in driving then I would suggest private tour you could go to Peggy's Cove then down the coast road to Lunenburg.( UNESCO World Heritage Site)
