Ocho Rios quickie: Gardens/Falls/Jerk/Beach?

Please help: v short POC in Ochi on Carnvial Freedom next month (2/17-24). 7:30 - 2:30 is how the Carnival itinerary reads. Will have my mid-70s parents and my 2 tweens in tow. All are active but going to try and avoid a lot of stairs and tourist traps.

Aim is to devise a 1/2 day visit that will keep everyone happy so have come up with this:

- Coyaba River Gardens & Mahoe Falls: botanical tour for granny, swim in falls to keep everyone else cool and happy. Good for 11 & 13 & 75 & 78 year olds? Heard it's not too many stairs but there is a waterfall to climb/swim in.

- Fern Gully

- Scotchies Too (take out jerk)

- eat Jerk on a beach

1) Assuming I can find a van to take all 6 of us to these spots, is all this do-able on the tight time schedule?

2) Which beach is my best best? Hoping for a lovely spot, not too touristy trappy, and close enough to get back to port on time. Anyone recommend Mahogany Beach in town?

Yes, this is a newbie question! Thanks for any and all tips!!
