Best Tours in St Kitts

My wife and I are going to be in St Kitts for a day and would love to get some ideas on what to do for our time there. We love adventurous activities, but also want some time in the water if at all possible. Any suggestions?

Javin, of My Island Tours has a fantastic excursion. Max 6 people, the day includes a visit to Black Rocks (where you get to go down and back up), a stop at a sugar cane field where Javin gets you fresh cane to taste, a rain forest hike, followed by local fresh bread, cookies and juice for refreshments, some time snorkeling on a wreck, ending with some beach time before you head back to the ship. Javin takes pictures all day, including during the snorkeling, and posts them on Snapfish for you to download. It's a great day!

I highly recommend including Clay Villa Plantation in your visit to St Kitts! It is a gorgeous historic privately owned home and the gardens are breathtaking! My husband and I booked a tour directly through their website that included the plantation, Romney manor, Timothy Hill lookout, etc. They offer a variety of tours and some include the beach/water. Since it's privately owned, the plantation is not a stop on any other taxi/tour company and that's one of the things that makes it so special. Don't miss it! :)

Check out Royston Tours. Our group of 8 recently spent a day with Ashton, Roystons cousin and it was one of the best experiences we've had in many years of travel. Tell them what your interest are and let them do their magic. St. Kitts is one of my favorite islands in the caribbean. Enjoy!

Last month we took the "Off the Beaten Path 4X4 Plantation tour" with Greg's Safaris. It was a great 4 hour tour of the plantations and high country with great views and lots of information about the history, culture and plants on St Kitts (Google it for more description). We had 11 in our group and he we could all fit comfortably. It was one of the high points of our cruise.

Javin, if you're up for an adventure. We've gone twice now and wouldn't hesitate to go a third! Make sure to get Lion's punch at the end! The tour has everything from local pastries, black rocks, rain forest hike, snorkeling (The LARGEST star fish we've ever seen along w/ LOTS of fish) and finally at stop at Lion's Beach bar. You won't go wrong!
