torty Posted February 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2013 Have been checking out shore excursions for our forthcoming Caribbean cruise and notice that quite a few are fully booked or wait listed. So we're looking for alternatives that we can book ourselves either on the internet or when we arrive. I'm a wheelchair user, though not confined and can walk a bit, climb a few steps, but this obviously limits our options a little. Has anyone any suggestions. We've cruised a lot, mostly with Princess where we've been able to book shore excursions in advance of the cruise which were added to our shipboard account and could be cancelled on board without penalty providing this was done within 48 hours of the date of the excursion. It seems with P&O you pay in advance by credit card. Does this mean you can't cancel once booked?
kersh Posted February 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2013 Hi Torty, This is new for P & O so not sure who will be able to answer this. I have booked a tour and paid for it for March on Azura. As both Princess and P & O are carnival owned you would think that the T & C s would be the same. Sue
