St Nicholas Abbey

Has anyone visited St Nicholas Abbey independently? Do the minibuses go there or does it have to be by taxi? If taxi, I wondered what the cost would be and whether we would have to ask the taxi driver to wait. Any advice please.

We rented a car and drove there. It was quite a distance from the port. We were the only vehicle there so you probably would have to ask the driver to wait for you.

We ended up passing on it. It was a little underwhelming from the outside. It is close to the Morgan Lewis Windmill so you could add that on, and Bathsheba isn't too far either.
