Medic1809 Posted February 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Hey everyone, I'm going to be on Indy leaving Feb 24th (18 days!) for a 6 nighter. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the set sail dining deal for either Portofino or Chops? I'm assuming the deal is a discount for the first night but I was curious to see how much. Thanks!
MS52 Posted February 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2013 On our recent Enchantment cruise, it was a discount of 30%. The dinner was $21 rather than $30.
jewels89 Posted February 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Am I right to assume the set sail deal is for a group of 6 or more people? I am always confused when I see that! Thanks for any info!
SkiQueen2007 Posted February 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2013 We are on the same sailing! I can't wait either! I'm sorry I can't help with the Dining Deal but I'm interested in hearing the responses too :)

Thanks for any info! We were a group of 4 on the Jewel and had the set sail dining deal in Chops (I think it is just the first night - not the amount of people) I also believe you have to reserve it online prior to the cruise

You can save big at select specialty restaurants onboard when you make your dinner a sail-away event. Book your group of 8 to 10 guests for dinner on the first night of your cruise, and your entire party saves 30% off the regular cover charge at some of our most popular restaurants! If you you don't have the number of guests to do the above on the first two evenings of the cruise a group of 4 can do the Celebration Dining Deal in Portofino where you pay the regular $20 per person cover charge and also get a $30 drink credit to share which should pay the better part of the bottle of wine cost or a drink for each. That's what we are doing on our embarkation evening on Voyager the week after next.
