lillypad83 Posted February 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Hey, guys! Do you know if the Best Western rents chairs? We were looking at going to Lindquist, and I wanted somewhere with chair rental and a bar that serves wine. :) Thanks!
Ms411 Posted February 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Yes, you can rent chairs at Emerald.
NorthCarolinaBelle Posted February 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2013 We asked our taxi driver to drop us off at Emerald Beach, and he dropped us off at the Best Western. It seemed a little weird, nobody spoke to us and the little bar didn't seem to be open yet (it was early.) All the chairs had numbers on them, and we were a little nervous about just taking some, but sat down tentatively. Nobody else was on the beach yet. I walked down the beach to where this other little hotel is. I think I was now at Lindquist Bay? Anyway, a gentleman asked if I wanted to rent a chair, and I went back and got my husband and friends. It was so much nicer, with the seagrape trees for shade, and a nice open-air restaurant with delicious fresh grilled fish! We had such a nice day there, and I would recommend it if you don't want water-sports and the like. Just a quiet, uncrowded beach.
Ms411 Posted February 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2013 You were probably at the Island Beachcomber Hotel. They are more consistent with chair rentals than the Best Western.
lillypad83 Posted February 12, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Sweet! Thanks for the help, guys. I feel a bit silly, because right after I posted that question, I saw they had a watersports/chair rental price list on their website. Guess I should have looked a little closer. :)
