hanson90 Posted February 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Cruising to the Eastern Caribbean on the Splendor on 4/8/13. Leaves NYC 4pm for 2 days at sea before getting to San Juan. Trying to get an idea of where the ship will be on that first day, wondering if it will get far enough south to have some decent weather. If anyone has recently taken an Eastern Caribbean cruise out of NYC let please drop a line as to approx. location during that first day at sea. Brooklyn1119 Posted February 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2013 I cruised out of New York this past April on the Miracle and the first sea day we were roughly around the Carolinas/North Carolina, not warm enough to lay out on deck but nice enough to walk around with a light sweater, but dinner time we were around Florida and it was significantly warmer at the end of the first sea day. irishnyc Posted February 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2013 NYC can be hit or miss with weather that time of year. It could be in the high 60's, or it could snow.
