Independence of the Seas Day Visits

I have a friend who is considering booking a cruise for the first time but would like to have a look around a ship first to get an idea of what it is like. I know P&O offer ships tours on embarkation/disembarkation day for a £25 fee to include lunch. Anybody know if Royal Caribbean offer the same/similar in Southampton on the Independence? Thanks:)

Yes they do - well they did last year !

I emailed shipvisits.uk@rccl.com and requested 2 x places on a ship visit around Indy for my MIL & FIL and was offered only one date in June. Cost us £20 each...

They both had a guided tour around Indy in a group with an RCI guide & a lovely lunch in the MDR... Tour was 9am - 2pm...
