MNelson486 Posted February 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Hello All, I asked this question on the Carnival board, but Mary and Michelle must be busy with the Triumph issues. Here is my question -- 1. Does the Miracle in Seattle have luggage express? (for Delta) 2. If they do have it, what is the earliest flight time you can use it for? (11:30 am? noon?) 3. I am a frequent flyer and do not have to pay to check bags on Delta will they just know this because they are also checking me in? Thanks for any help you can give! Cruisin'Doc Posted February 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2013 I was on the Spirit in May and used the luggage express for Delta. 1) Yes, they do have luggage express for Delta (or they did in May) 2) I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect those times should be ok. 3) Yes. When you are filling out your forms for luggage express, you will be able to mark if you are first class, frequent flyer, etc., and any fees associated with your luggage (just write it in if there is not an available checkbox). Good luck and enjoy!
MNelson486 Posted February 16, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Thank you so much for your help Cruisin Doc. I am thinking about taking the 11:30 flight out -- do you think that would be ok.
Cruisin'Doc Posted February 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2013 If I recall correctly, the standard response is, "Don't book a flight before noon." HOWEVER.... I believe we were at the airport by 9:00 AM or so. It all depends on how you are set-up to leave the ship. I believe those who are luggage express are set to leave the ship with VIPs. I'm afraid I don't really have a good memory on that one, because we were in the lounge either way, but I do believe I recall on the luggage express form that we were to meet at the same time/location. Perhaps someone else may have a better response/memory of their departure? I will say, however, it was very easy and it was SO convenient!
