Margarita Monkey Posted February 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Details state that a power boat ( The Padre) takes you out to Goff's Caye. Has anyone booked this excursion? How was the boat? Did they pick you up from the ship or the dock? Cost is $75 pp. Other option is to book through Eco Tours for $45 pp. Is it worth the extra money to book through Princess or not? Anyone have any comparisons to offer?

sueandkent Posted March 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Just back from the Crown last weekend. We did Caye Caulker instead of Goff's as it came more recommended. We booked independently with Coral Breezes and they were excellent. It's quite a ways from the main port but we had a super calm day for seas which was great. To me, the boat ride was half the fun. It was a powerboat style boat which held about 18 people. Not alot of shade except under the small canopy. On our way back we even had a dolphin pick us up and swim along with us for a few miles. Very cool. We did the snorkel, shark ray alley tour that included Caye Caulker and it was $64pp but some did go just to Caye Caulker (we dropped them off first before going to the reef) and enjoyed their day touring around and going in the water. This is likely going to get moved to the Port Of Call threads and you will find good info there too. Sorry I can't help about Goff's but this is a great alternative.:)
