ferretface Posted February 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2013 A couple of years ago we ate at a food tent a couple of blocks from the port. Food was served in styrofoam containers. It was caribbean fare. It was really good and reasonable for the amount served. Does anyone know if it's still there? Thanks
drew sailbum Posted February 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2013 That sounds like something that is set up on occasion just for a single day as a fundraiser rather than an ongoing business. There are several places around town to sample Caribbean fare at good prices. Try the Champion House restaurant's location in the MacDonald Square Building (corner of Fort St and Edward St) or Corita's Copper Kettle restaurant (corner of Dr Roys Dr and Edward St) for local fare at reasonable prices.
