blame canada Posted June 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Helllo0o0o fellow cruisecritics.. this will be my first time traveling on NCL and i had a few question about the ship. Which resturants do you have to pay for? I wasn't sure if there were ice cream dispensers :p around the ship or only at one of the bars. Also is the Ice cream free? Do they really I.D. to get into the comedy acts, or clubs  ? Does anybody know a site or have the room service menu? i heard they have PIZZA on it!! lol thats it for now but if i got anymore ill let you know.. thanxies =]

johnql Posted June 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Here's the breakdown of dining on the Dawn: Venetian - main dining room - free Aqua - main dining room - free Impressions - main dining room - free Garden Cafe - buffet - free La Trattoria - Italian specialty restaurant - free/reservations req. Salsa - Mexican specialty restaurant - free/reservations req. Blue Lagoon - 24/7 eatery Bimini Bar & Grill - free Pearly King's Pub - Fish & chips - free Ondeck BBQs - free Room service - 24/7 - free Bamboo - Sushi/Teppanyaki specialty restaurant - surcharge/reservations req. Cagney's Steakhouse - Specialty restaurant - surcharge/reservations req. Le Bistro - Continental specialty restaurant - surcharge/reservations req. There is usually hard ice cream (free) served every day in the Garden Cafe. There is also Sprinkles Ice Cream Bar (free soft-serve), which is poolside. When I was on the Dawn, the soft-serve machine wasn't in operation, but I have read recent reports that it's now working. ID? I believe if you're underage, it's encoded on your Sea Pass (which serves as your onboard charge card and room key). You need to be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol and 18+ to gamble on the ship. I assume that if your age is in question, the staff will check it with your Sea Pass. I can't answer your question about clubs. Pizza is available through room service. Have a great cruise!
