sweetcruiser106 Posted February 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2013 I sailed on Mariner (sister ship to Navigator), and had 6618 (center hump). It is very close to the promenade and being on the hump, has great views forward and aft. Hope this helps. Anne:)
Camlott Posted February 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2013 I'd go for 7688 or 7388, largest balconies on the ship unless you get a suite.

DonnaK Posted February 23, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2013 I'd take anything on the hump. I also prefer to be lower to the water, so I'd pick deck 6 or 7. I'm not a fan of aft cabins on Voyager class ships. Even though the balcony is bigger, there is too much infrastructure back there. Beams criss-cross the view, and it's like overlooking a construction zone.
bigkauhuna Posted February 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2013 You might want to look at an AFT corner they are very sot after.
AustinCruise Posted February 23, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Which is the best GS on navigator?
Clarea Posted February 23, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Which is the best GS on navigator? There are no GS staterooms on the hump or aft, so they will all be pretty much the same. If you want minimal motion, pick 1298 or 1598.
Westh2o Posted February 23, 2013 #9 Share Posted February 23, 2013 When we went on voyager class we loved deck 10 close to to the aft elevators. That way pool and windjammer is a short walk. Sent from my AT300 using Tapatalk
maxxedout2 Posted February 23, 2013 #10 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Ya, deck 10 center hump if you use pool a lot. Deck 6 center hump if you use Promenade a lot. Hump cabins are near aft elevators and convenient. Aft cabin facing wake if you don't mind the long walk. Great ship! :D
rresco Posted February 23, 2013 Author #11 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Thanks again all this info,we will be taking our grandkids on their very 1st cruise and we think they would really enjoy a balcony stateroom, and so will we.
alexpress Posted March 1, 2013 #12 Share Posted March 1, 2013 I think the best ones are close to the centre of the hump on all Voyager class ships because you can see both ends of the ship. Other than that any aft facing cabins are great and usually very peaceful.
coordinator23 Posted March 1, 2013 #13 Share Posted March 1, 2013 We found the hump area on deck 8 to be very "creaky" and loud wihen the ship was moving. I didn't get a good nights sleep at all. Our last trip on this ship, we stayed in an aft cabin on deck 8. Noticed all the noise as we made our way down the hallway to the back of the ship once again. We liked everything about the hump but the noise. I also swear there must have been a loose wire, or something, behind our headboard. That click-click-click at night while at sea was worse than a water drip. We were on the starboard side that trip.
Pumbaamd Posted March 1, 2013 #14 Share Posted March 1, 2013 We've been in hump JS's on Voyager, Mariner and Navigator. Very convenient and close to stairs, elevators and very little noise. Rick and Deirdra
LPast50 Posted March 1, 2013 #15 Share Posted March 1, 2013 My favorite on the NOS is 1388. It's like having a mini suite!

NYCRUISR Posted March 1, 2013 #17 Share Posted March 1, 2013 IMHO, I'll take 7688 or 7388 ANYTIME. The "walk" is not bad at all unless your handicapped! After all the eating you need to take a few extra steps. VERY QUITE down the hallway and private,
