whynotsooner Posted February 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2013 Hello, As you know NCL's Breakaway departs from NYC and I was wondering if anyone could give a look into the weather on departure and arrival. When leaving New York will it be cold for 1-2 days with rocky seas and on the way back will it be the same thing?
mtsnd1900 Posted February 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2013 Depends on the time of year - sure, in the colder months it will be cold, but on the first day/night, explore the inside of the ship or weather up for the outside journey. By the AM, you are far enough south to enjoy the decks. Certainly if sailing in the middle of winter, from New England, one may expect to see colder weather for the first day or two, but not too bad after the first day. Sailings will vary with the weather. Atlantic is rockier then the Carri bean, but then again, I have seen the Caribbean with some very rough seas too!
