Flight leaves at 7:00 from IAH can i drop bags?

There are 7 of us that are flying out at 7pm from IAH, we aren't really sure of what we can do before our flight. I was wondering if there is anywhere that we could "drop" our luggage so we could walk around Galveson. We really didn't want to haul our luggage around while we walked around. Thanks for you suggestions.
