sickofsnowinmich Posted February 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2013 We will be cruising on Carnival during Spring break with our 18 y.o. daughter and her friend for their senior trip. We will be on Grand Turk from 11a.m. - 5p.m.. Looking for a fun excursion - possibly beach, snorkeling, maybe adding in shopping (if tht exists there) . Doesn't seem like alot of time compared to our other ports....but have heard that this is the place for snorkeling. Anyone have any recommendations for excursions? We typically like to secure these through private parties rather than through the ship.

Try Grand Turk CC dot com and look under shore excursions...they have just snorkeling and also catamaran and snorkeling...it is awesome snorkeling there! jamscckmc Posted March 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Having been there twice with my teenage daughter, she loved just hanging out at the pool right there at Margaritaville. They have a pool with a swim up bar(they will be able to drink there) and there is a DJ of sorts leading games in the water. There is a beach right as you get off the ship if you want to just have a cheap beach day and go back on the ship for lunch since its so close. Others I'm sure can give you more info on snorkeling there.
AZPam Posted March 10, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2013 We were just there on Friday on the Ruby Princess. We did a snorkle trip with Blue Water divers and would recommend them in a heart beat. The water was a little rough that day and they almost cancelled on us, but we did end up going and it was some of the best snorkling I've done. Colorado Kat Posted March 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2013 Crystal Seas Adventures has some wonderful tours. Snorkeling, or whale-watching, or exploring. Terrific people. My favorite is Daniel.
