stipmom Posted June 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Does anyone know if carnival offers bus service from the pier to Orlando? Thanks, Michele
tribbs1 Posted June 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I would doubt it. You will need to rent a car and drive yourself. It is about 2 1/2 - 3 hours away.
Magnifique1908 Posted June 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Wow, that's a long way. Do you just not want to fly into Orlando? Maybe try Melbourne, they have a smaller airport, limited flights, but it's worth a try. I doubt if Carnival would offer anything from Ft. Lauderdale though. Whoops, maybe I didn't get your question. Are you sailing from Ft. Lauderdale? If so, then if you want to get to Orlando, for post-cruise, or to fly out, you will have to rent a car like the other poster mentioned. JrMafia90 Posted June 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I don't think they do. If you are leaving out of Orlando on your cruise then fly to Orlando. Ft. Laurderale is a long time away from Orlando.
jimbug Posted June 10, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2005 I'm fairly certain Carnival doesn't offer the bus service, but maybe some other Floridians can help you out. I know that at one time recently, there was a Florida bus service called Cruise Connection or something of that sort that picked up cruisers from their hometowns in Florida and took them to/from cruise piers. If that service still exists, perhaps you could catch one of those buses to Orlando.
