Experience Belize Tours????

I was just wondering if anybody has ever used this company before? and what are your thoughts. Any imput will be appreciated. We are thinking about using them for a tour of the city and the ruins.

We used them for a tour in April 2012...we went to Altun Ha and also had a brief city tour...They are wonderful! Highly reccomend using them. Let meknow ifyou have more specific questions.

We arrived in Belize on a Princess cruise in March 2013 and did a tour with Experience Belize Tours. We were very happy with the experience. The tour included the city followed by Altun Ha Maya Ruins. Allen was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour interesting. .He did everything to make the tour both comfortable and enjoyable. Allen provided us with water, soft drinks and a beer at the end of the tour! We were told by our travel agent to book excursions with the cruise ship, but we took a chance. It was well worth it; we were a small group which made the experience much more personal. We had no problems meeting up with Allen. There were absolutely no problems and we made it back to the tender in plenty of time. His fee was quite reasonable and substantially less than the cruise excursion. If we come back, we will definitely sign up with Allen.

Our family did this tour last week, it was "unbelizeable"! Alan and Leah treated us like family. Leah greeted us upon arrival at the meeting place, although she was not able to spend the day with us, she made sure that everyone had what they needed and were prepared for the day. Alan was waiting for us on the nice COOL clean tour bus. We quickly began the tour with Alan getting to know the two families on the bus. Offering us sodas, water and local beer. Alan was very professional yet friendly. He was very knowledgeable about everything on the island. He did a great job answering any of the questions that either of the families had. He not only taught us about the Ruins but told us about plants, animals, ecosystems and other facts that were important to their island. We spoke with several other families that went on tours sold by the cruiseline and none seemed to compare with our day. They felt as though they were herded like cattle thru the tour. I would recommend Alan and Leah (Experience Belize) to anyone that wants an interactive day with a tour guide in a small group setting. Alan and Leah....you guys rock!
