maureen B. Posted June 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I am booked on the Adventure of the Seas 7/24 cruise. I paid the final payment back in April. How soon should I receive my documents? Probably about a month before, right? Any idea? Thanks, Maureen

jstducky Posted June 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2005 In general cruise docs are sent about 3-4 weeks prior to sailing. If you booked directly through the cruiseline it will come sooner. If you booked through a TA the docs need to go the TA first who will then send it to you. For example, I booked my upcoming 7/3 cruise on Serenade through a TA. The TA called me yesterday (6/8) to tell me that my cruise docs just arrived and that they would be sending them on to me right away.
Cruiser_Guy Posted June 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I got it!! Its 20-50 days prior just as long as you paid straight from the RCCL website!!
checker78 Posted June 9, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Hi Maureen B... You should receive your documents anytime from 2 to 4 weeks prior to your cruise. If you booked with a TA, they will receive them first, then forward onto you. If you booked with RCI, they will send them directly to you. But either way, the time period will vary.
