Question about Cruise Cash, Carnival Gift Cards and OBC

For my Ecstasy cruise in May, I am going to wind up with Cruise Cash, Carnival Gift Cards and OBC (all three). At this point I am concerned that I may have a leftover balance. Will they automatically use up the Cruise Cash first since it is nonrefundable so that I still have some means of either receiving a gift card or refund depending on how much balance I have left?

OK, I was told by Amy in sales that OBC received from price drops as well as cruise cash are non refundable. I have both obc and cruise cash already on my S&S account for our May 2013 cruise (about $300)

SO, what I am going to do is NOT put down any cash or a credit card when I board. I will wait until the obc and cruise cash are spent and then add more. Hope that helps.

 

ETA: do not apply your gift cards until your obc and cruise cash run out. That would be my suggestion.
