(I think it's a Canadian Thing) :eek:.... can't find it even at McDonalds in USA! even here in the northeast US where we do put vinegar on our fries, it's hard to find a place with white vinegar! most here in northeast will have malt vinegar on the table, but the fries taste so much better with white vinegar and some salt ... FlaGrl4Evr Posted March 11, 2013 #79 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Biscuits and Gravey!!! They had biscuits and gravy on both of our previous cruises on the Legend and the Inspiration. On the Legend it was located inside the Lido on the breakfast buffet next to the bacon and such and on the Inspiration, we found it at the breakfast station on the outside lido deck by the main pool. Perhaps it is located on only certain buffets so it may be worth it to ask. On the Legend, I had a hard time finding the prepared oatmeal and it turned out that it was only offered in one of the buffet lines. YES! Crab legs! And NOT the cold ones like they have at some buffets (Vegas). I would LOVE it if they had "Canadian" iced tea. You Canadians know what I'm talking about. As an Entree in the MDR, not the buffet. If they had them on the buffet, people would walk away with plates with 10 pounds of crab legs. And it must be hard to have warm crab legs on a buffet, because everytime I have gotten them they have been cold or room temp and rubbery. I could go for more seafood in general. I am not a big fish person, but love crab, scallops, shrimp, lobster. It seems like most of the shrimp (except the shrimp cocktail) is fried. It seems like a boat in the middle of the ocean/sea should have seafood. DH would say buffalo wings- preferrable boneless. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not that Pringles is the best potato chip, but the container keeps them from getting crushed during travel. I also wish all of Carnival's ships had the fish and chips place. The chips from room service are always stale. A little larger filet mignon and no brisket with it. Creme brulee on the everyday menu. Better sausage. But I do love my cruise-only escargot and fruit soups (so my wish is that they would always have those.) Mostly, I would like to see more food offerings representative of the ports being visited on any given itinerary. Not just generic "we-put-pineapple-and-coconut-in-it-so-it's-tropical", or "it's-pasta-so-it's-Italian", but the real deal. Also, local brews & wines and maybe specials on drinks using local spirits would be nice. Even locally popular soft drinks could be interesting. Crabcakes are servied one night in MDR. You're half way there! The fried shrimp is now a bunch of skinny overly greasy sticks. Que pasa? Better sauce on the lasagna. It has a funny taste.
