What is something not served on board..

White Vinegar.... for french fries! (I think it's a Canadian Thing).... can't find it even at McDonalds in USA!

even here in the northeast US where we do put vinegar on our fries, it's hard to find a place with white vinegar! most here in northeast will have malt vinegar on the table, but the fries taste so much better with white vinegar and some salt ... I'm from RI and it was fairly common to see white vinegar in the "local" type restaurants... but here in NH, it's not as common ...

That you wish was served on board? (Or an item you purchase)

Mine is the carot cake in the dessert case that you pay for.. I wish they had that as a dessert option in the MDR.

would be great to see:

creme brulee

lump crabcake, pan fried

rare seared ahi tuna steak

"rhode island" style calamari (fried calamari tossed with banana pepper rings)

Biscuits and Gravey!!!

They had biscuits and gravy on both of our previous cruises on the Legend and the Inspiration. On the Legend it was located inside the Lido on the breakfast buffet next to the bacon and such and on the Inspiration, we found it at the breakfast station on the outside lido deck by the main pool. Perhaps it is located on only certain buffets so it may be worth it to ask. On the Legend, I had a hard time finding the prepared oatmeal and it turned out that it was only offered in one of the buffet lines. I wish that I would have found it sooner than half-way through our cruise.

My vote would be for Crab Legs.......at least one night at MDR...they have lobster one night so they could do crab legs one night.....

YES! Crab legs! And NOT the cold ones like they have at some buffets (Vegas).

I would LOVE it if they had "Canadian" iced tea. You Canadians know what I'm talking about. I've tried mixing the lemonade and iced tea, it's okay but not the same.

Crepes Suzette

Bags of chips at bar

Baked Alaska

Gluten Free Pizza

Decent Steak in MDR other than Flat Iron, even a sirloin be much better

I had baked alaska 1 or 2 nights in the MDR on my last cruise on the freedom.

Mmm. Crab legs, that is a good idea. As an Entree in the MDR, not the buffet. If they had them on the buffet, people would walk away with plates with 10 pounds of crab legs. And it must be hard to have warm crab legs on a buffet, because everytime I have gotten them they have been cold or room temp and rubbery. I could go for more seafood in general. I am not a big fish person, but love crab, scallops, shrimp, lobster. It seems like most of the shrimp (except the shrimp cocktail) is fried. It seems like a boat in the middle of the ocean/sea should have seafood.

DH would say buffalo wings- preferrable boneless.

Potato chips. I usually carry a can of Pringles in my carry on for late night munchies. Not that Pringles is the best potato chip, but the container keeps them from getting crushed during travel.

I also wish all of Carnival's ships had the fish and chips place.

The chips from room service are always stale.

A little larger filet mignon and no brisket with it.

Creme brulee on the everyday menu.

Better sausage.

I don't really care if they don't have stuff I usually eat at home, because I can... well...get that at home.

But I do love my cruise-only escargot and fruit soups (so my wish is that they would always have those.)

Mostly, I would like to see more food offerings representative of the ports being visited on any given itinerary. Not just generic "we-put-pineapple-and-coconut-in-it-so-it's-tropical", or "it's-pasta-so-it's-Italian", but the real deal. Also, local brews & wines and maybe specials on drinks using local spirits would be nice. Even locally popular soft drinks could be interesting.

Creme brulee is first night dessert. Crabcakes are servied one night in MDR. You're half way there!

The fried shrimp is now a bunch of skinny overly greasy sticks. Que pasa?

Better sauce on the lasagna. It has a funny taste.

Come on everyone, as much as we complain about the food, we need more suggestions.

Clams casino.

Baked oysters with cheese sans spinach. Or with more cheese on the Rockefeller.

Better cut of lamb.
