LindaKE Posted May 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Do you get to see coral at Coral World? The name implies that you do, but everything I read talks about the variety of fish you see. We would really like to see the pretty coral I hear so much about but are too old to swim. We did a submarine in Grand Cayman and everything was in shades of swimming pool blue, so we don't want to try that again. The Islander Posted May 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Hello Linda, Coral World is more about the fish and tropical marine animals then about the coral. Coral World has a shark tank, a turtle pool, a touch pool with star fish and the like, a sting ray pool, land turtles, birds, and fish displays/tanks - its more about the fish. The underwater observatory allows you to see the natural coral and fish but it is certainly not like the coral you see while snorkeling or diving. Its worth visiting if you want to see the various fish and marine species. --Islander For more information on the Virgin Islands visit http://www.***** the best guide to St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John and Water Island.
