blackcows Posted March 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2013 So based on what I have been reading on this forum I decided I would check and see if the price had decreased for the cruise that we have booked. When I check our dates (over Easter weekend) I find no room available in our category. Does this mean the category is sold out and therefore no discount on our fare? When I check our dates (over Easter weekend) I find no room available in our category. Does this mean the category is sold out and therefore no discount on our fare? Err...maybe, but not necessarily. I'm also cruising over Easter on Liberty, and in two days, I've gotten over $100 in OBC, and upgraded from Main to Lido! My category wasn't showing up when I did a mock booking, but a higher category had a lower price than my rate, so I submitted the Early Saver form for several reductions and an upgrade, and got an even better deal than I submitted for. This thread delineates what I was paying, what I submitted for, and what I ended up getting--all over a 24 hour period: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1806328 YMMV.
