What's your favorite drink

Don't know its name, but my wife LOVED this drink last year! We're sailing Saturday on the Panama Canal cruise---I figure she'll spend the 15 days searching the bars to find it again!

The Martinis made at the Alchemy Bar on the Liberty last week were the best! Try them all. My favorite was made with a caramel vodka and sour apple schnapps--sprinkled with cinnamon on top. It was amazing!

Loved the Choc Mocha Getaway and the Kiss on the Lips!

Holy cow, that looks like several deserts rolled into one cocktail. I would not be willing to devote that much caloric intake on 1 drink.

Looks good tho.

My all time favorite is a Long Island, but on a cruise (and in general) you MUST ONLY order it from a bar where you can watch them make it, i.e. don't order one in the MDR. And if you get a bartender that pours it too light, go find another bartender for the next one :D

Do they serve something called Lava Flow? Around Miami it's called Miami Vice so maybe that is what it is called on the ships?

We call it a Miami Vice in Maine too.

I like ordering a Virgin Bloody Mary, extra spicy please!

The Hurricane Wave for relaxing in a hot tub or by the pool. (Frozen Hurricane and Banana Daiquiri mixed!)

A glass of red wine with dinner. (Barefoot...for all you wine snobs! ;))

A Spicy Pineapple Martini after dinner. (Perfect!)

...throw in a few random drinks in the middle, and call it a day.

On board? What do you order?!what do you like? what do you make yourself?

My cruise tradition is enjoying sun on the deck during the day, then heading to the cabin to get cleaned up and dressed for the evening, then getting a frosty pina colada at the casino bar. And depending on the ship, enjoying the free sushi on the promenade with my pina colada until the casino opens. :-) That makes for a great day at sea!

My favorite DOD is the Funship Special

MY favorite drink other than that is the Kiss on the Lips.

Same. :D

I would like to try the Mocha Getaway though. I have had a Miami Vice at AIs, so I would like to try that on the ship too. And I am in the market for some kind of a blue drink. Pretty color. :p

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm a margarita girl myself, but I found a recipe that's good I am thinking about taking next cruise and its rather cheap to make. It's for sangria.

1 bottle white wine (bring our own)

3 cans Fresca (bring our own)

Chopped fresh fruit (compliments of the buffet bar)

Mix, great Sangria!
