Bingo Question

Gosh, I wish I could afford to waste $750 on Bingo !

Throw some OBC my way - ha ha ha !!!

Happy cruising :-)

My wife and I both play so it adds up quick if you play every session. They didnt have machines on our last cruise so we may just play one of those between us. At 55 a pop and about 9 sessions its still going to be about 500.00. We can dump it there or dump it in the casino. In our case we will probably dump it in both. What the hell you only live once right?

Exactly. You just sit there. The numbers called are entered into some machine that is wirelessly connected somehow to your machine. Your only job is to yell Bingo. Might improve your chances because more 'cards' can be played by the machine than you could have kept up with manually. But I don't see the fun in it.

It sure was fun for me when I won the "Win a Cruise" game. When I won you had to yell bingo and also do your best "bingo dance".

LOL, congrats! I don't disagree that it is fun to win, heck I would love to win something for a change (I never win at bingo :()

I just mean with a machine the actual playing part isn't playing at all, there's no participation. For me that's part of the experience.

I feel the same way about slot machines, they are boring - I prefer video poker because I get to make a choice, be involved.

The electronic machines otherwise known as hand helds are great if you have issues with bad sight or arthritis. They are very popular in most bingo halla in the U.K. thay are dearer because you get more cards to play with. I work in a bingo hall and on certain sessions the customers queue up for over half an hour before they go on sale just to get one (more than half of these people are pensioners). To play bingo on board ship go to the first session and go to the last one for the jackpot. It does not pay out as much as we do because they are not regulated as much. I think on every cruise I have went on they are not as busy as they used to be and the prizes are very reduced as they keep most of the revenue for the jackpot game on the last session.
