Epic MDR in Mediterranean

Yes, it's another of the infamous "lobster questions"! :p

 

Since the Epic sailing in the Western Mediterranean is a circuit (boarding in Barcelona, Rome, and Marseille) rather than something with a firm stop and start port...

 

Is there a lobster night in the MDR?

 

And, if so, which port is considered the "official" first night?

 

We're boarding in Rome in a few months with my MIL and FIL... I don't want to drop the idea of something into their minds that won't happen! lol

Last year, the vast majority of people boarded at Barcelona. I get the impression that this year there are more people getting on at Rome than did last year, but I suspect that Barcelona will still be the main boarding port and therefore Lobster night will be then.

Thanks! I guess we'll make sure to be in the MDR on the embarkation port nights and go from there.
