jem16 Posted March 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Just reading my e-ticket for Red Magic cruise. It says we are required to provide passenger details in advance of travelling. Don't remember doing that before - has everyone else done this?

hgt Posted March 25, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Just to double check.... API is only for the flight part of things isn't it? I'm doing a cruise only soon on the Spirit (booked my own flights with EasyJet). I've already given the API info to EasyJet... but I don't need to give anything to Thomson do I? I got my e-ticket which mentioned API on it, but was very generic in that it also referred to hold allowance etc, so suspect they always print those reminders even if not flying with Thomson. Yes api is for flights - Thomson don't require it if you are not flying with them as in your case just your carrier. Thomson don't ask for it either if you are doing an ex-uk itinerary with no flights involved. Just the usual passport info at registration. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Passenger_Information_System
