goldie888 Posted March 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Have anyone done a small group tour on B2B cruises with a total of 4 days in St. Petersburg? I am thinking of using Best Guides Tour in St. Petersburg and hoping to have a more relaxing and longer stay at each tour sites. Any advice? Rare John Bull Posted March 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2013 St Petersburg is a great city to visit. But you're being just plain greedy :D All the local operators will tailor a tour to your needs, but for a party of under about 6 people it will cost. Here's a suggestion: Book a standard seats-in-van two-day tour for your first cruise, & at the same time reserve a guide & driver for a private tour for your second cruise. As well as helping to keep the cost down, after experiencing St Pete's for the first time you'll have a good insight into the main attractions & probably learn a little about others - such as the Aurora or Kronstadt - which whets your appetite. You'll also learn from fellow-cruisers about their experiences at other places, including evening tours & shows. This will allow you to tailor your second visit to places the rest of us can only belatedly wish we'd included and places you had to be dragged away from first-time-round. And if you're going to struggle to fill two full days on cruise number two, mebbe consider the long haul to Moscow??? Just my thoughts.
