Virgin Mobile IPhone 4S on Oasis

We have an upcoming cruise on Oasis and wondered if my cell phone might work in any of the ports. The phone is a Virgin Mobile IPhone 4S and is prepaid. My concern is that we could get a larger bill because of use. Wondering if any one else has dealt with this.

It probably will work and "yes" if you use the foreign port cel system there is a good chance you will get hit with a larger than expected bill.
