Calico Jack Sparrow Posted March 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2013 We were directed by friends to Calabaza, but they are already booked. Calabaza gave us the names of some operators who still have space, and Action Charters is the only one which offers a shorter cruise wiiithout lunch. Anyone have an opinion?:D
sns1009 Posted March 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2013 We went with Action Charters on our Christmas cruise Dec 2012. We loved everything about it! In fact, we are heading back to Barbados in Feb 2014 and will be repeating the same excursion. Very nice people from start to finish. They picked us up right at the pier and brought us back. We did the 3 hour snorkel. They took us first to the turtles. We had plenty of time with them and saw lots of turtles. We were also the first boat to get to them. The crew is very helpful and will help if you have never snorkeled. They offer life jackets for those that want them. Next we went to a shipwreck. After snorkeling they put up the sails and you get to sail along the coastline and relax for the rest of the trip. The catamaran is very nice. There is a bathroom and plenty of room to relax. I’m not sure how many people where on the excursion with us but we never felt crowded. They offer unlimited beer, rum punch and juices and bring out really great banana bread on the sail back. Even if you don’t snorkel this is an amazing day just relaxing on the catamaran. The crew was very informative and wonderful with our 5 year old. They even let him drive the boat J
