CalaDragonflyLady Posted April 28, 2013 #101 Share Posted April 28, 2013 *Sigh* I wish everyone had experience in the service industry, maybe that would make a difference in attitude? Not flaming or calling anyone out, I just think it would change people's perspectives. I understand the point of those that say they don't pre-pay for services not yet rendered, but for me it's about convenience, just another thing I can consider "paid off" for my vacation. poison7fl Posted April 28, 2013 #102 Share Posted April 28, 2013 We do the autotip and if necessary make adjustments at guest services. Same here, but I always pay off my bill prior to the end of the cruise, so no credit card surprise.
jmcathome Posted April 28, 2013 #103 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Your gratuities are put on sign and sail early in the cruise unless you prepay. At the end I tip the Steward and wait staff for their service. Gets harder when you eat your time because you could move each night if you change eating times. They try and sit you in the same area so you can tip if you have the same staff. If you have a great experience early don't be afraid to tip then. They will always appreciate the extra
