Ocean view to a balcony on the Ecstasy!

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who posted regarding getting OBC and upgrades because of the friends and family sale! After all the posts I finally did a mock booking for my cruise in June on the Ecstasy and saw our price had dropped $250. I worked with my TA and since we hadn't paid our final deposit they dropped our final payment by $250. I then did mock booking for balconies and realized we could book one for the original price we paid for the ocean view! We decided to go for it and I'm super excited!! Also originally they were upgrading us to the verandah deck but the room was right under the kitchen and after seeing lots of posts on cruisecritic saying that's pretty noisy, I declined and asked for a different deck.
