susan1234 Posted June 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I have booked my 83 and 76 year old in-laws, (who have some knee problem) in a B6 cabin, and would like to know if the tub in the bathroom is easy to climb/stand in to take a shower. Or should I change them to a handicapped cabin instead? Thanks in advance for your advice!
pisces1 Posted June 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2005 If I am not mistaken, the B6 only has a shower not a tub/shower combo.

Peter On most ships, either thru arranging ahead with the reservations department or onboard with the streward, you can request a handicapped shower/tub chair. These are the white ones .. sold by pharmacy stores .. for people with mobility issues. Insist on getting something like that .. mom was on several cruises post knee and hip replacement . and always got one . and had no issues!
