Bathroom questions on QM2 Cat B6 cabins

I have booked my 83 and 76 year old in-laws, (who have some knee problem) in a B6 cabin, and would like to know if the tub in the bathroom is easy to climb/stand in to take a shower. Or should I change them to a handicapped cabin instead?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

B6 Cabins have 'walk in' showers - no tub.

On most ships, either thru arranging ahead with the reservations department or onboard with the streward, you can request a handicapped shower/tub chair. These are the white ones .. sold by pharmacy stores .. for people with mobility issues. Insist on getting something like that .. mom was on several cruises post knee and hip replacement . and always got one . and had no issues!
