dimama Posted June 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2005 I'm considering booking through Priceline for a downtown Miami hotel pre and post cruise December 10th and 18th. This is my first attempt with Priceline so I've been researching this on some websites, and frankly my head is beginning to spin!:p Any advice for hotels in the downtown area and what bids have been going for? I'm thinking 3 or 4*. Also, we are a family of 4 with 2 small kids (3 and 5), so prefer a room with 2 beds. Could this be a problem? Thanks for the help! cruisebrat15 Posted June 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2005 I going on a cruise in Aug. Just used priceline for my precruise stay. We did not want to stay downtown because there is not much there so started bidding on Beach areas that were 4 star or resorts. I started really low at 40 ended up going to 3 star at 60 and was accepted at Four Point Shearton on the beach. Their internet rate for the two night I am going is 139. I am happy with it. Good Luck!
