Titanic Museum Belfast

Recommended Posts

Trying to decide between the Titanic Walking Tour and the Titanic Museum, any information or comment as to which would be best.

Personally I like walking tours but even as a local I was and still am very impressed with Titanic Belfast. I have heard visitors say good things about both! (not much help really!:o)

Depending on your plans, do you have time for both?

Whatever you decide, pre book tickets, they both can sell out well in advance on certain days.

Does anybody know if taxis are readily available for a ride back to the ship throughout the day? We're planning to catch a HOHO bus after visiting the museum, enjoy the sightseeing loop, then hop off at the museum to grab a cab back to the ship. Just wondering if catching a cab could be a problem.

There is a Value Cabs taxi rank out the front of Titanic Belfast, if there are none there, a freephone direct to Value Cabs is available in the main foyer in Titanic Belfast. Getting a taxi back to the ship won't be a problem :)

Thank you! Just what I needed to know! Didn't want to risk missing the boat!

1. How long to allow for both Pump House & Experience on Sunday. We are usually pretty quick going thru museums.

2.Good time to arrive on Sunday?

3. Is the PumpHouse a guided tour? Should we book the private tour or will going it on own work fine?

4. Much else to see (pubs, intgeresting structures, homes, historic places, the troubles area. etc.) near the exhibit or better to go to town?
