Waverunners in Bora Bora or Moorea

Hello,

My fiance and I are interested in doing a waverunner tour in either Bora Bora or Moorea. Has anyone done this at both places and could recommend one location over the other?

Also, I read that the private waverunner tours are better (and longer) than what the ship offers. Is this correct?

Thanks!

I am not leaving for a couple weeks but did some research on wave runners. For Moorea, the ships tour is only 1 hour and $185. Moorea jetski has excellent reviews on trip advisor and is $220 for 2 hours. They have free transportation and it seems a much better deal. They also stop at a motu for snacks.

I didn't look in to Bora Bora as we are doing a lagoon tour and going to the motu. Hope that helps.

Steve

When you are on Moorea think 'land tours'

When your on Bora Bora think 'lagoon tours'

That is not to say Moorea doesn't have a nice lagoon but going 360 degrees around Mt Otemanu is stuning let alone Bora Bora's lagoon has som any shades of blue / green and everything in between.

7 trips to Moorea

12+ trips to Bora Bora

PG excursion waverunner on Bora Bora:

Anyone done this recently?? Would love your feedback!!!

Trying to decide between ship excursion & private thru Moana Adventure tours.

Online on the PG website the excursion description says it's a one hour tour for $299 although speaking to a PG person on the phone they say it's 2 & 1/2 hours. Would love to know what it actually is & some feedback as to how the tour is.

The Moana waverunner tour is $289 for a 2 hour tour in a group. They also have private tours but they are very expensive.

Thanks again, GG
