whale watching mid June

Recommended Posts

I am taking my 2 teen boys on their first cruise in mid June. (from Boston stopping at St John) Carnival is offering a whale watching excursion to the Bay of Fundy. I have heard that whale watching is not as good in June as it is the end of the summer. Should I go ahead and take a chance and book anyway? Anyone have any more information or has anyone done this in June?

thanks!

According to this article, anytime between June & August is good, with August being the best.

No whale watching tour will 'guarantee' that you see whales. However, with my experiences on the West Coast, the tour operators are really good about radioing other operators when they spot whales, so that everyone can enjoy. I would assume it's like that on the East Coast.
