Considering Holiday Inn Express in Fort Lauderdale. Anyone know how close the water taxi is to the Hotel? Was hoping it was within walking distance.

If you mean the one by the convention center, it definitely is within walking distance. We stayed there 5/20 before our cruise. It's also a short walk to Walgreens, CVS and Publix. There's a nice little Italian restaurant right across the street that you can eat in or take out. We're planning on staying there again before our November cruise.
