Has anyone stayed at NO Marriott?

Recommended Posts

It's fairly close to the pier. And, yes, you can walk to Bourbon and the FQ, but just DON'T take any back streets. Walk down Canal til you get to the street you want (e.g. Bourbon) and THEN walk down that street. Stay with the crowds and you'll be fine. The Marriott is a nice hotel. Enjoy your stay.

Hubby And Son Stayed At N.o. Marriot On Canal During A Business Trip. Thoroughly Enjoyed It. Can Walk Throughout The Fq. Can Hop The Cable Car To The Port I Think. Parking Can Be A Problem However.... Valet Is Really Your Only Option I Believe... Enjoy !!!

Here's a pic of the Conquest from the top of the Marriott when we stayed there last October. Was very convenient to FQ, and taking the Streetcar around sightseeing was great. More to do in that area than you will probably have time for.

It is not that far to walk to the pier, but if you have luggage, a taxi would be a much better choice... The taxi's have flat rates between the airport and the FQ, and for us was the best way to go. It also was a flat rate for around the FQ and from the hotel to the pier, and they dropped us off right in front of the luggage porters at the pier.

Enjoy!
